Our distillery is a fixture in the town of Dundalk, County Louth—the smallest in Ireland and affectionately known as “the Wee County.” It is a special place, a coastal county on the Irish Sea where whiskey making is not just about the distilling process, but also intertwined with the county's history, folklore, and traditions passed down through generations of local whiskey artisans, a heritage dating back to the 16th century.

Yet it is these very whiskey makers who jumped at the chance to help make something new and different—a disruptor—an unconventionally styled, yet true Irish spirit that's markedly different from traditional, establishment brands.

With access to the purest water from the nearby Cooley Mountains and the finest of Irish grain, it is here where the team tirelessly honed batch after batch of Triple Dog until it was just right.
